CEO Bjørn Thorsen shared his reflections on the past fiscal year: “Revenue declined as expected, reaching DKK 1.42 billion. Naturally, this impacted the annual profit, which decreased from DKK 97 million in 2022/23 to DKK 67 million. Despite this decline, we consider the result satisfactory.”

“This was also the fiscal year in which we transitioned to our new ERP system—a challenge that, unfortunately, turned out to be more significant than anticipated. Regrettably, these challenges have also affected our customers and partners. However, there is no doubt that we have a dedicated team working tirelessly to stabilize and improve our daily operations, and we are deeply grateful for their commitment.”

New Ownership: Wegener Stahlservice GmbH

Beyond the financial results and ERP transition, 2024 marked a major milestone as the Andresen family sold IAI Holding to Wegener Stahlservice GmbH. The sale was completed on July 31, after the end of the published fiscal year.

With the acquisition, Ib Andresen Industri A/S now has an owner committed to reinvesting profits into the company to drive further growth, in collaboration with the talented team at Ib Andresen Industri A/S. Wegener Stahlservice GmbH eagerly anticipates and has high expectations for this partnership.
