Langeskov, 26 June 2025 – Ib Andresen Industri A/S reports a pre-tax profit of DKK 43 million for the financial year 2024. The financial report covers a shortened six-month period due to the company’s transition to a calendar year accounting period. As a result, the next annual report will cover the full year of 2025.
By comparison, the pre-tax profit for the previous financial year (2023/24) amounted to DKK 88 million and covered a 12-month period.
Revenue for the six-month period reached DKK 696 million, compared to DKK 1,187 million in the most recent full financial year. Both the change in revenue and pre-tax profit are primarily attributable to the new reporting period.
“It is important to emphasise that this year’s result does not reflect a decline in business activity, but is solely due to the structural change in the reporting period. During the second half of 2024, we experienced strong activity across all business areas – however, our customer Better Energy’s restructuring (and subsequent bankruptcy) had a negative impact on the result,” says Frank Wegener, CEO.
